BREAKING: Adv. Hussain Owais Files Complaint After Qur’ans Found Dumped in Bengaluru Scrap Godown — FIR Awaited

Bengaluru: A disturbing incident has come to light in Vidyaranyapura, where a large quantity of Holy Qur’ans was discovered stored inside a scrap godown. Images from the location show the sacred books placed among discarded materials, raising serious concern over their handling and disposal.

Advocate Hussain Owais, a respected member of the legal fraternity in Bengaluru, personally visited the spot upon receiving information. Deeply concerned by the condition in which the Qur’ans were found, Adv. Owais immediately filed a formal complaint with the Bengaluru City Police, seeking appropriate legal action.

Advocate Hussain Owais, who first raised the alarm, has publicly appealed to senior police officials after filing a formal complaint. He posted the details on X (Twitter), calling the incident “a shocking and heartbreaking insult to the Holy Qur’an” and demanded immediate legal action.
As the complaint has just been submitted, the FIR is currently awaited. Adv. Owais has expressed his trust that the authorities will take cognizance of the matter and initiate the necessary procedures.

Preliminary observations indicate that the Qur’an copies carry IMA branding, which Adv. Owais has requested the police to examine closely. He has urged the authorities to ascertain how such a large quantity of sacred books reached a scrap facility, and who was responsible for their transport and storage.
