Complainant Denies ₹25 Lakh Extortion Allegation
On the following day, media reports indicated that the café’s representative had accused Nikhil of making a phone call demanding ₹25 lakh.
Adv. Hussain Owais has strongly denied these allegations on behalf of his client, stating that Nikhil was mid-air on a flight at the exact time when the alleged phone call was said to have been made.
The complaint states that the extortion allegation appears to have been fabricated to divert attention from the café’s food safety lapse.

Allegation of False Evidence & Attempted Character Assassination
The complaint further alleges that the café may have created false evidence, including arranging a fabricated call from an unknown number.
It also states that CCTV footage from the café during the relevant time would clearly establish the truth.
Adv. Owais notes that Nikhil has reason to fear unknown enemies and suggests that the contamination may not have been accidental — a claim based solely on the complainant’s suspicion.
